Effective June 23 – 26, 2023
To accommodate infrastructure work, Amtrak’s Northeast Regional, Vermonter, Hartford Line and Valley Flyer Services will be adjusted as outlined below. Alternate bus transportation is provided by DATTCO during this project. Schedule times listed on Amtrak.com have been updated to reflect these changes.
Friday through Monday, June 23 through 26
- Trains 136, 140, 146 and 148, which normally operate between Washington, D.C., and Springfield, will terminate at New Haven. Buses 3036/3136, 3040/3140, 3046/3146 and 3048/3148 will provide alternate transportation between New Haven and Springfield for all missed stops.
- Train 143, which normally operates between Springfield and Washington, D.C., will originate at New Haven. Buses 3043/3143 will provide alternate transportation between Springfield and New Haven for all missed stops.
- Train 141, which normally operates between Springfield and Norfolk, will originate at New Haven. Buses 3041/3141 will provide alternate transportation between Springfield and New Haven for all missed stops.
- Train 125, which normally operates between Springfield and Newport News, will originate at New Haven. Buses 3025/3125 will provide alternate transportation between Springfield and New Haven for all missed stops.
- Trains 405, 463, and 467, which normally operate between Springfield and New Haven are canceled. Buses 3005/3405, 3063/3463, and 3067/3467 will provide alternate transportation between Springfield and New Haven for all missed stops.
- Train 499, which normally operates between Greenfield and Springfield is canceled with no alternate transportation provided.
- Trains 450, 460, and 464, which normally operate between New Haven and Springfield are canceled. Buses 3050/3150, 3060/3460 and 3064/3464 will provide alternate transportation between New Haven and Springfield for all missed stops.
- Train 400, which normally operates between Springfield and Greenfield is canceled with no alternate transportation provided.
Saturday and Sunday, June 24 and 25
- Train 54, which normally operates between Washington, D.C., and St. Albans, will terminate at New Haven. Bus 3054 will provide alternate transportation between New Haven and St. Albans for all missed stops except Claremont, Windsor, and Randolph.
- Train 57, which normally operates between St. Albans and Washington, D.C. will terminate at New Haven. Bus 3057 will provide alternate transportation between St. Albans and New Haven for all missed stops except Randolph, Windsor, and Claremont.
- Train 147, which normally operates between Springfield and Roanoke, will originate at New Haven on Saturday. Buses 3047/3147 will provide alternate transportation between Springfield and New Haven for all missed stops.
- Train 157, which normally operates between Springfield and Norfolk, will originate at New Haven on Sunday. Buses 3157/3257 will provide alternate transportation between Springfield and New Haven for all missed stops.
- Trains 409, 465, and 497, which normally operate between Springfield and New Haven are canceled on Sunday. Buses 3009/3409, 3065/3465, and 3097/3497 will provide alternate transportation between Springfield and New Haven for all missed stops.
- Train 416, which normally operates between New Haven and Springfield is canceled on Sunday. Buses 3016/3416 will provide alternate transportation between New Haven and Springfield for all missed stops.
- Train 461, which normally operates between Greenfield and New Haven is canceled. Bus 3461 will provide alternate transportation between Greenfield and New Haven for all missed stops.
- Train 488, which normally operates between New Haven and Greenfield is canceled. Bus 3188 will provide alternate transportation between New Haven and Greenfield for all missed stops.
