Not while ago, I wrote a letter to Amtrak about few concerns I had experienced and want to find some answers. Good news, I got a response letter via email so I want to share their letter, some information you see has been redacted to protect or privacy reasons. Thank you.
What interest me the most is: Amtrak is working to eliminate the issue about crew taking over the cafe car once they get the new passenger cars, this is a wonderful news. Cafe car is really about for passengers to hang out and meet people not for crews to take over nor take the car hostage as for themselves. It’s for us, the paying passengers.
So therefore, we will follow up for more updates when it becomes available.
